Patients can order repeat prescriptions due within the next seven days using the online service via the link at the top of this page. In order to access the service you will need to call into the surgery to register.
Alternatively, click here to download the form to register to use the service. Please bring the completed form into the surgery. You will need to bring either a valid passport or driving licence along with you to register and your photograph will be taken quickly at the surgery and added to your medical records, this will allow for extra security for all our patients. You will then be issued with a username and password by reception staff.
Repeat prescriptions can also be requested in the following ways:
- by post or by completing the request form at reception and placing in the box located in the main entrance hall. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
- Faxed requests can be sent to 01422 322645.
- Email requests can be sent to prescriptions@gp-B84012.nhs.uk. PLEASE NOTE THIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS FOR PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS ONLY
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS CAN NOT BE ORDERED OVER THE PHONE
These should be requested 48 hours in advance if possible and can then be collected from Monday to Friday after 13:00. Requests for certain medication/prescriptions (items only deemed urgent by the doctor) during surgery hours will not be refused, but patients seeing the doctor for other health matters have priority; therefore you may have to wait.
We have dispensing facilities within the building. A pharmacist is available to give over-the-counter advice. The pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 09:00 – 18:00.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
