As of 22nd May 2017, Spring Hall Medical Practice will be working in partnership with Care UK to provide additional telephone calls to our patients and to support our local team and this will improve and increase access to doctors.


The Care UK clinicians will work in exactly the same way as our local clinicians. Medical records will be accessed by Care UK clinicians through a secure network, and your information will not be used by any other third parties.


Patients can ‘Opt-Out’ of the service offered by notifying the practice.

Appointments/Telephone Consultations

To arrange a telephone consultation or to book an appointment with the nursing team you can call either Spring Hall surgery on 01422 349501 08.00-18.30 or the Boots branch on 01422 321691 8.00-13.30 only

The practice operates a telephone consultation service. This means you can speak to the doctor by telephone as an open access appointment that is, the same day. Appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

To make a telephone consultation appointment please telephone the practice or ask at reception. Alternatively you may book telephone consultation appointments and some nurse appointments online using the link above. New users are required to complete a simple registration form which is available at reception at both sites alternatively click here to download an online access registration form

Patients have a right to express a preference of GP, but this may not always be possible for appointments booked on the day or in the case of emergencies.

If you are late for your appointment, you may be asked to wait until the end of the surgery before you see the doctor.

Urgent Cases

Anyone with an urgent problem should telephone the practice and they will be seen on the same day. Please be prepared to wait for a suitable appointment time by the on-call GP/duty doctor.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
